Department of Laboratory Medicine was created on March 1, 2011 under the name of the Department of Medical Analytics under the resolution of the Senate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn on February 25, 2011 regarding the opinion on organizational changes at the Faculty of Health Sciences (Resolution No. 607).
The Department conducts scientific and research activity and carries out didactic classes for Polish and English-speaking students of Medicine, as well as for Emergency Medicine and Dietetics.
The creation of a training analytical laboratory for students is one of the major scientific and didactic achievements of the Department.
